Seattle Sunrise in black and white

Photograph of Seattle by Susan Sheldon Nolen

I was out on an early morning coffee run and the sky was amazing. The sun, what one could see of it, was waking up. I wanted to see what this sky looked like in black and white. So for this week’s black and white photograph,  it’s Seattle Sunrise in Black and White.

About susan sheldon nolen

It’s rare to catch me without coffee, a form of camera, or my beloved wire fox terriers. I love the history, the art, and it’s a massive part of my life, as I either paint, write, or get interrupted by my dogs, reminding me of the real world. I hope you enjoy your time here. It’s such a privilege to have readers.

  1. Nice b/w! It’s not always easy to shoot from here because of the huge spaces, so it’s neat how downtown is slotted between the water and clouds.

I'd love to hear your thoughts!
