Black and White #6- London Old and New

I was heading away from Spitalfields Market on my way to Sandy Row when I looked up to see the old advertisement on the brick building, and above it, almost bursting out of the roof, a modern skyscraper gleaming in the sunlight. Black and White week#6

About susan sheldon nolen

It’s rare to catch me without coffee, a form of camera, or my beloved wire fox terriers. I love the history, the art, and it’s a massive part of my life, as I either paint, write, or get interrupted by my dogs, reminding me of the real world. I hope you enjoy your time here. It’s such a privilege to have readers.

very cool shot – and I like the old and new. I also like the three vertical poles almost evenly spaced throughout…..
the gutter (?) to the the left and on the building – the center lightening rod at the top – and the right street light. adds nice verticals with the windows and bricks.

I'd love to hear your thoughts!
