Black and White#3-Death at God’s Door

back and white photography by susan sheldon nolen of skull in front of church

I was walking in the Hague, having one of my mooching abouts and looked up to see this cheerful chappie staring down at me. Needless to say, I did not tarry. Time to move on  from de Nieuwe Kerk and move on quickly! Week# 3 Black and White.

About susan sheldon nolen

It’s rare to catch me without coffee, a form of camera, or my beloved wire fox terriers. I love the history, the art, and it’s a massive part of my life, as I either paint, write, or get interrupted by my dogs, reminding me of the real world. I hope you enjoy your time here. It’s such a privilege to have readers.

I don’t know how they managed to make a skull with empty eye sockets look like he’s staring at you, but they did. Creepy and macabre! Great photo.

I'd love to hear your thoughts!
