Doors- Iron and Glass

Boston-Irondoor

I loved this glass and iron door in Boston. The ornate canopy of  carved wood offering shelter from the rain and snow, just gave me the impression that if I stepped into this door, I could possibly step into a time warp. Would I find myself in another era? Sadly the door was locked and I would never find out.

About susan sheldon nolen

It’s rare to catch me without coffee, a form of camera, or my beloved wire fox terriers. I love the history, the art, and it’s a massive part of my life, as I either paint, write, or get interrupted by my dogs, reminding me of the real world. I hope you enjoy your time here. It’s such a privilege to have readers.

I love that you’ve shown me a few doors I’d never have noticed in my heart’s own city.

  2. Hi Cameron…same here in my hometown, I walk by some amazing stuff that I just pass by! Funny how that is. Loved Boston, I can’t wait to go back and see more!

Pictures of doors and windows are my favorite–they get my imagination going, as this one did yours. Thanks for sharing and getting my mind going again!
