A Cheerful Dutch Door

Susan Nolen's Dutch Door

There was so much I loved about this door, the yellow, the rich green, the plants, the brilliant sunshine, it was hard to just focus on one feature. This door in the Hague, Netherlands is so cheerful, you just want to knock and say, hello…any chance of Coffee and Cake?

About susan sheldon nolen

It’s rare to catch me without coffee, a form of camera, or my beloved wire fox terriers. I love the history, the art, and it’s a massive part of my life, as I either paint, write, or get interrupted by my dogs, reminding me of the real world. I hope you enjoy your time here. It’s such a privilege to have readers.

    • I loved the frame and the colour of yellow they chose to paint the brick work, it all worked so well!! Too bad they didn’t let me move in! 🙂

oh they should have let you in – did you tell them that you can brew some great tea and tell a sweet story? maybe you should have mentioned margaritas (kidding)

I'd love to hear your thoughts!
