Black and White #22 Three Chimneys in Kent

Susan Nolen's Black and white photograph of three chimneys in Kent

We left the city for a Sunday Roast out in the Kent Countryside and I spotted these Three Chimneys. I wanted this photo to look like the ones you find in those old black and white books- Travel England on one pound a day and such. Thinking, HV Morton and writing like this….“The rain descends with the enthusiasm of someone breaking bad news.”   Shame though about Morton’s personal views.   Lunch however was amazing! I have a weakness for superbly roasted potatoes! The kind you can only make with fat…real fat. Crisp on the outside, soft and fluffy inside…oh dear… I was not let down.

About susan sheldon nolen

It’s rare to catch me without coffee, a form of camera, or my beloved wire fox terriers. I love the history, the art, and it’s a massive part of my life, as I either paint, write, or get interrupted by my dogs, reminding me of the real world. I hope you enjoy your time here. It’s such a privilege to have readers.
