Black and White #19 A wooden horse of Litho

Susan Sheldon's photograph of a wooden horse

I had the funny feeling someone was watching me. I was somewhere in Lithuania, when I looked up, and saw the cheeky chap watching me. Upon closer inspection this horse turned out to be carved from wood.  A Lithuanian art form. So here’s black and white #19 A wooden horse of Litho!

About susan sheldon nolen

It’s rare to catch me without coffee, a form of camera, or my beloved wire fox terriers. I love the history, the art, and it’s a massive part of my life, as I either paint, write, or get interrupted by my dogs, reminding me of the real world. I hope you enjoy your time here. It’s such a privilege to have readers.

  1. prior says:

what a nice piece of wood art- and the iron steps up to the horse are interesting – 🙂

  2. Are the steps for the Lithuanians or an homage to the Trojans?

  3. Hi Fannie! 🙂 Could be both!

I'd love to hear your thoughts!
