Ted in the city garden- Hard at work or hardly at work

We had a bit of sun the other day and I thought it best to get out in the garden. Well, I suppose you could call it a garden, it’s more like a small city patio. Still I manage to grow a few bits here and there and dream of a proper back garden one day.

In the meanwhile, weeds need pulling, and leaves swept up before the patio candles and wine glasses are put out. Ted eager to come outside with me, suddenly was no where to be found.

But there he was at the garden gate trying to see if he could squeeze out and away from the boring task of pulling weeds.

Weeding sorted and where is Ted? No comments please, he’s hard at work and we mustn’t wake him. Ahem.. I think not!

About susan sheldon nolen

It’s rare to catch me without coffee, a form of camera, or my beloved wire fox terriers. I love the history, the art, and it’s a massive part of my life, as I either paint, write, or get interrupted by my dogs, reminding me of the real world. I hope you enjoy your time here. It’s such a privilege to have readers.

Teddy has the right idea. Throw in some chocolate and a good book, and I’ll join him. 🙂

  2. Ted gardens very much like I do, Susan!

  3. I have to agree with the others, Susan. Ted is my kind of gardener. Though, I once had a 40 bush rose garden – which was stupid in our climate. Pictures like your top one always make me want to start again. Really lovely.

Love the pictures, Ted is a great subject

I'd love to hear your thoughts!
